Bermuda's Pink Sand

Bermuda's Pink Sand

I've been to my fair share of beautiful beach destinations but nothing quite compares to the soft pink sand and turquoise waters of Bermuda. Plus it's only a 2 hour flight from NY! The Island of Bermuda is latitudinally in line with South Carolina (roughly), so the weather is a bit more mild than you would expect, but there's nothing mild, moderate, or just OK about this tiny island. Living in New York City where I'm used to tall buildings covering up most of the sky, anytime I can get an unobstructed view of the horizon is a rare gift. Even the clouds look different in Bermuda!

We spent the first day relaxing around the grounds of The Reefs just enjoying the views. The picture below was taken on the porch where we enjoyed breakfast overlooking the ocean and the private beach cove is a perfect place to lounge uninterrupted and do what I do best; very little with a book in hand.

Also, look at that rainbow! That is not photoshop people!
